PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Esolas-RD 40 Capsules combine esomeprazole 40 mg and domperidone 30 mg to manage acid-related gastrointestinal disorders, particularly when gastroesophageal reflux is accompanied by symptoms related to delayed gastric emptying. Esomeprazole reduces excessive gastric acid production, while domperidone acts as a prokinetic agent to help move food through the upper gastrointestinal tract. The combination addresses gastric acid secretion and gastrointestinal motility

COMPOSITION
Each hard gelatin capsule contains:
Esomeprazole (as Esomeprazole Magnesium Trihydrate IP), 40 mg; enteric-coated pellets
Domperidone (as Domperidone Maleate), 30 mg sustained-release pellets
HOW IT WORKS
Esolas-RD 40 may be prescribed for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and reflux-associated symptoms such as heartburn and regurgitation. Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It blocks the H+/K+-ATPase proton pump in gastric parietal cells, reducing gastric acid secretion
Domperidone is a peripheral dopamine D2-receptor antagonist with prokinetic and antiemetic actions. It can enhance upper gastrointestinal motility and facilitate gastric emptying. Together, the components help control gastric acidity and associated upper-GI symptoms
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Take Esolas-RD 40 exactly as directed by the physician. Swallow the capsule whole; do not open, chew or crush it, as stated on the pack
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Possible adverse effects include headache, dry mouth, abdominal discomfort, diarrhoea, constipation or nausea
